Increase and Diversify Lake Crystal’s Tree Canopy
The Tree Sponsorship Program is a collaboration between Crystal Waters Project and the City of Lake Crystal in response to the impending Emerald Ash Borer pest infestation in Lake Crystal. The program will help replace trees lost to EAB and increase the variety of tree species in Lake Crystal. Through this program area residents are able to purchase a tree to be planted at their homes or on a City of Lake Crystal property. The trees are species that will thrive in this area, and can be planted in honor of or in memory of a loved one.
Tree Locations
Sponsors who opt to plant trees at their homes will be responsible for planting and caring for their trees.
For the sponsors who opt to have trees planted at public parks, those trees will be planted and cared for by the Lake Crystal Parks Department.
All tree sponsors will be acknowledged.
